Has anyone found a specific bug in build 18912? I can't tell from these posts.

I've found that you sometimes have to rub the system's nose in Window.old to delete it. First, run dir C:\ to make Windows see it. Then rd /s C:\Windows.old often works as it should. I don't use the q switch since I want the luxury of confirmation that I've asked for the right thing to be deleted.

    Here's one.

First problem I've encountered. Using Mail and trying to close that message threw the system into a state of being frozen and then struggling to right itself. Which It eventually did after completely resetting the screen setup and anything on the taskbar.

The wording of my phrase was not probably correct, but that is exactly what I meant (the way you describe it). When one signs up for the Insider Program, expect to have bugs. That is the purpose of this level of flight. Funny enough, since I have been on Fast/Skippy on my second machine, I have never encountered any big problem which would make me roll back.

One thing, I have to mention though, is that if the machine is basically unusable, one doesn't have any choice but to roll back. Strangely enough, Fast/Skippy runs better than 1903 on my production machine where I had to roll back to 1809 after two attempts.
I agree; Fast/Skippy is much better than anything I'm running so far, including 1903. Hardly a problem at all.

Have you right clicked on Taskbar, hovered over Search to see if it's hidden?
