Just saw the news: updating 2 of 3 skippy/fast ring PCs right now. Will report back here if anything untoward or interesting happens.

[Note added 00:40:00 later] Got an error code 0x80010105 on the Dell XPS 2720. Re-trying that installation right now: at about 70% installed on the GUI-based (initial) install phase. X220 Tablet is still on its first try only up to 40% complete in the GUI-based install phase. This one is kinda slow...
[Note added 00:52:00 later] 2nd try on Dell XPS 2720 got into post-GUI install phase just now. Lenovo X220 Tablet still only at 72% in GUI-based phase right now. Hopeful that both machines will run through to completion. Sitting over the XPS 2720 right now, looking for BSOD or other error codes.
[Note added 01:16:00 later] Just rebooted X220 Tablet into post-GUI install phase. Will add another note when that process completes, or should any failures occur. Initial boot-up to desktop follows 14 minutes later.
[Note added 01:01:00 later] XPS 2720 is booting into the new OS. Probably will get the OOBE stuff showing up soon . . . nope, booted straight to desktop. Initial error was apparently just a glitch of some kind. Winver shows 18912.1000. X220 Tablet still in the 80s (percentage-wise) complete on GUI-based install phase.
[Followup/Concluding note added ~20 hrs later] The X220T did the post-GUI install in about 15 minutes. Afterward, I cleaned up using Comet/MDiskClean.exe. As per usual practice, I attempted backup using Macrium Reflect on both PCs, but failed on the XPS 2720 because of a VSS copy failure issue. I had to uninstall/reinstall MR to get the backup to work on that PC (and ended up installing the commercial version, after purchasing a 4-license pack to show my support for this truly excellent product). The X220 Tablet ran MR Free without issue. Go figure!]

Still hanging on. Download has finished and now installing at 16% (crossing my fingers).
Third restart already. Very long update this time for me
Update finished after three restarts. Took a while this time.
