I downloaded 18362.145 from .116 on the second system in the office (I had used the CAB file to upgrade my Laptop to .145). I got to 100% installed and sat there for a minute and started to install from 0% to 100% again and then rebooted and finished. MS must be messing with the CU again.

Maybe it installed the service stack update and then the cumulative update. Mine did the same thing.

    That's exactly what it did!
In my case, when got back to 0% and started "reinstalling", I checked the installed updates and the SSU which was not was there before, had been installed!

I wonder why they don't show the SSU installing. It doesn't make sense to me.

What about when you look in control panel>program and features>installed updates, I see both listed there.

Ok this is a bit weird. It installed yesterday in the same way as ddelo's did with succesful installation, and my version of windows also updated, but I am being offered the update again right now.

Edit. I clicked the install now and it went away. Strange.

I am aware of that. They just don't appear in the Settings App when installing.

We all had that. Just bad programming.

1903 was performing perfectly before this CU....this completely kyboshed it.....time Updating took hours with no indication as to what percentage was being installed....tried several ways to try and get it....impossible to get PowerShell or CMD to work.
Only solved by doing a clean ISA installation, helped by having an M$ account.

Not so long ago, cumulative updates took 20-30 minutes to finish after I clicked restart - now it takes less than 10 minutes. Now that is a good thing.
That is only because they are small at the beginning. They will grow in size.
