Two and a half, almost 3 hours later , I have it installed, cleaned up, made ISO and checked out. It never took this long but it did one retry. Now will have to go and buy an Android phone just to have reason to use this build because it looks like this build is all about that. Had to readjust sound properties to get sound.
Downloading the uupldump iso. Also trying to download a Skip Ahead VM using Windows Update but thisy is slow because aria (rightly) hogs most of the bandwidth. Also will try to update Ubuntu 18.04 in WSL ti 19.04 simply by ediiting the /etc/apt/sources.list file - this will probably fail but as always I sometimes get bored. Copying sources.list.bionic back should revert but may not - there are other ways to reset WSL.
All installed ok. 1+45 including ISO, about normal. Install percentage was really bouncing all over the place.
I didn't have any of that going on. I just found it today about an hour ago, and it downloaded same as always, and loaded up in about 45 minutes. A little longer than usual, but no jumping around or other drama.
I sometimes feel almost jealous, as you guys always have all the fun, with so much drama going on. And I miss out on all the excitement. Some people on here really go through some crazy drama, every time they update. But my experience is always boringly normal. I always try to test all the things people say aren't working right on their systems, but rarely do I get to join in with that. It's very strange how differently Windows 10 runs on all these systems.
