Maybe need two attempts again! Have they fixed the creative sound-card issue yet? Makes no mention anymore in the issues but im still not having any sound, been over six months!

There were 3 0x8024200D (missing or corrupt files) errors, but it appears the last download session may have solved the problem. After that, install went smoothly to restart. Offline install is now progressing as usual.

EDIT: Success!

A green 'we've encountered an error...' screen just before the desktop should have appeared. In very tiny print it said problem with win32k.sys. It restarted just fine.

It's a Creative issue not Microsoft. You need newer drivers from Creative.
