This should also fix the color profile issue.

Try F.lux as an alternative, has more features.

    IMHO -- this is ridiculous!

So now, we have TWO 1903s out there -- 1903 GA and 1903 IP/RP -- and this CU is for the latter, not the former!

I would have expected this to be patches to the Released version version of 1903, since that is out, now.

This is normal practice. The idea is that CUs are released first to the RP ring for testing before going out to the general users. It was partly because this didn't happen that 1809 had so many issues.

    I think you misunderstand, Mark.

The reason for the RP CU is to give us Insiders (beta testers) a chance to install and make sure there aren't any nasty surprises for when it's released to the general public.

I used the CAB file and updated the retail 18362 to .145 with no trouble.

Finally had time to reboot! No issues with this update and nothing post update related to report either.

Please correct me if wrong, but isn't this the first time a Servicing Stack Update - Cumulative Update pair have been released to Insider Ring prior to going public? I thought most of the 1809 bugs were in the initial Feature Update, then the SSUs, CUs, etc., were released direct to public without Insider Ring testing....

1809 updates have been released to the insider rings in the past as well.

It's really the correct way Microsoft should be rolling out updates, first to RP then to everybody else. Except for the security updates that are released on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
