Audio not working with Dolby Atmos headphones and home theater
After updating to Windows 10, version 1903, you may experience loss of audio with Dolby Atmos for home theater (free extension) or Dolby Atmos for headphones (paid extension) acquired through the Microsoft Store due to a licensing configuration error.

This occurs due to an issue with a Microsoft Store licensing component, where license holders are not able to connect to the Dolby Access app and enable Dolby Atmos extensions.

To safeguard your update experience, we have applied protective hold on devices from being offered Windows 10, version 1903 until this issue is resolved. This configuration error will not result in loss of access for the acquired license once the problem is resolved.

    Affected platforms:
    Client: Windows 10, version 1903
Next steps: We are working on a resolution for Microsoft Store and estimate a solution will be available in mid-June.
Note We recommend you do not attempt to manually update using the Update now button or the Media Creation Tool until this issue has been resolved.
    Works for me
I received an update for dolby atmos after a half an hour of upgrading

I'll add one not on the list that I had. May be posted or covered somewhere else, but there are a lot of threads to go through.

Settings>Apps crashes. Very simple fix.... Go to System>Storage>Apps and Features and click on that. It will take you to the same as Settings>Apps. And, the Settings>Apps will not crash anymore.

If you had previously set your system to NOT have the OS compressed, this update may have (did here) reset that to compressed OS. You can check that with an Admin Command prompt and:

How to Compress or Uncompress Windows 10 with Compact OS

    Compact /CompactOs:query

To set it ON (Compress the OS), use:

Compact /CompactOs:always - and let it complete the operation.

To set it OFF (Not compress the OS), use:

Compact /CompactOs:never - and let it complete the operation.

Slower cpu machines in particular with adequate storage may want to set this to OFF, to unburden the cpu.

Is Storage Sense turned on by default in 1903?

    I hope not...

It's on here, but probably because it was on, and the setting carried forward.

If you use Windows Defender Application Guard, be very, very careful cleaning up after the upgrade(or better yet let Windows do it in it's own time)
I did a thorough cleaning last night, and it broke WDAG from loading, and needed to do a repair install this morning to repair it.
I'm guessing the folder that needs it, stays in the Windows.old folder, or.... what ever pointer in the registry for it, isn't changed.

Works again now(here from Edge Canary)

Creative X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty Champion and many others not working

Many older Creative Soundblaster (PCI) cards stopped working with the initial Windows 10 1903 release.
The 2016 released Windos 10 drivers for these do not work anymore. However, Creative are apparently working on new drivers soon to be released which will enable compatibility yet again.

It may be coincidental but, after I did the upgrade, I was unable to come back to this site??
I tried using my Express VPN and voila, no problem?
I have tried to contact my ISP but, they take forever and the help desk is in Asia.
Not sure but I am guessing this COULD be a DNS server issue?

One other thing, a few programmes I use that require net validation have given me "Unable to contact server" errors when NOT
using my VPN and, a few that WERE listed before in the allowed programmes allowed net access were missing from the firewall settings.?
