    Here is the problem with setting a non-zero number of days for either defer option.

    Now you see it....

    @Brink
    Not as daft as I look.......
    See here Cumulative Update KB4497934 Windows 10 v1809 Build 17763.529 - May 21

    See where @Bree was explaining something in 1809 to me and he said in post #33:

    "Yes, the wording could have been clearer. But the result is that after KB4497934 has installed you will be able to choose when (or even if) you want a Features update to 'Download and install now'. As I understand it this change will apply to Home as well as Pro."

    I took that to mean that from when you upgraded from 1809 to 1903 both Pro and Home would have the facility to
    defer updates, not just pause them.

    Time will tell, but for now it seems only the pause updates feature.

    Maybe once defer is fixed??

    Attached are registry files to Pause Windows Update until 01 January 2050+, the Resume registry file restores the Pause Updates to default.

    HUH!?!

    I have Lenovo Vantage installed and I see no orange tint on my thousands of screenshots. Maybe it's a hint that users should switch from Intel to AMD?

    The probability that I'll be alive to see it resume is diminishingly small. Though with luck I expect the PC to kick the bucket before I do

    What's the betting that MS will STILL be kicking out updates that cause as many problems as they fix?

    No orange tint here either.

    50+years? I might make another 30, that's when I call it quits. Aww...that'll only put me at 98, okay make it 32years an I'll be 100.

    With odds like that I wouldn't take that bet. what's the antonym of planned obsolescence? Ethical business, Stable release?

    Shawn, you're gonna get keyboard cramps tryin' to keep up that's six in this week and I see they've listed the Search with high CPU usage finally.
