    Hi Brink
When you say "still available" do you mean they fixed the bug, or you never saw it?
And I always thought that that facility was going to be included in Home where it never was before (1809)
I saw the settings originally until checking for updates as Ken mentioned below, then the settings were gone for them.

I don't think it will be available for Home, but not 100%.

Strange. I have two Pro systems. If I set the deferral to anything other than zero days and check for updates the options are removed.

Then I do this and it is restored only to be lost again.

Ah, yes I see the same thing after checking for updates.

It may be best to use the pause updates feature for now until the defer gets fixed.

Thanks Brink but not sure how it will get fixed if it not acknowledged as an issue.

I say it again, I hope everyone experiencing uses feedback hub. ( and a prayer or two )

The defer Windows Update settings are still available for me in Windows 10 Pro v1903 build 18362.356.
The problem is easy to replicate.
    • Set a defer period of 1 or more days for either/both the defer settings
    • Check for updates
    • Now the defer setting will be missing in Advanced options

Using Regedit to set 'DeferFeaturesUpdatePeriodInDays' or 'DeferQualtyUpdatePeriodInDays' back to zero in the key HKLM\SOTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings will make them visible again (after another 'check for updates').

I reported this bug in the Feedback Hub (anonymously, I don't have an MS account) back in May when I discovered it. See post #67

(so far MS haven't even acknowledged that it exists)

@Brink - same symptom as I (and many others) are seeing.

This It looks like Windows 10 Home can now defer updates for 35 days | Ars Technica
is one of several articles implying that it WILL (or WAS going to be) included in 1903 Home
    @Caledon Ken and @Steve C
Yes I logged it on the hub a while ago too. Like you Steve, I don't have an account either.

That would be for the pause updates feature instead of defer feature.

On my 1903 Home Edition I can pause updates until 17th Oct, so that's 35 days. You go into advanced options to do it.

Ah.... my error - I read this article too How to pause Windows Update in Windows 10 up to 365 days

What I failed to spot in my enthusiasm (assuming the article hasn't been updated) was this little note at the bottom....

Please note that the options to configure these settings are only available on Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, and Education. Windows 10 Home v1903 and later however allow users to pause Windows Updates up to 35 days as mentioned above.

I've therefore been under a misapprehension for several months - stupid boy! D'Oh!
