    Hi,

It cannot be that as adapter works fine when attached to usb reader but not to internal sd card reader.
    My thoughts as well.

In the end, I have a solution - curious more than anything.
Now you got me curious too.

    Cheers,

After updating to 1903 I sometimes get a black screen on wakeup, but with the cursor moving just fine. I need to reboot to get the full video back. Seeing this on a second machine also; hope they have this fixed in tomorrows update.

Laptop internal SD card reader requires driver. Laptop does not see them as a USB device.

    Hi Mike,

Sounds like a Mint process didn't release from the last time you used it.
If and when you try this again and it fails, try looking in task manager to see if any thing related to Mint and / or the VM is still running.

Only usual ones associated with VM Ware.

But for some reason this one too:

Will see what happens when it's stopped.
    EDIT.
When that service is stopped VM Ware and Mint in it work.
    Why is it running when:

    PS:
Service is set to manual but still starts.

    Hi there @CountMike

delete all the .lck (lock files) that you'll probably see in the folder where you've got the VM -- it's often in the same folder as the .vmx config files etc. You can delete all the files with a long row of seemingless numbers as well (usually some time of GUUID).

Then it should all start again properly.

    Cheers
