A minor GUI glitch in Start button/taskbar behavior in auto-hide mode. After the user clicks the Start button with the mouse, the taskbar initially begins to withdraw (as if it is no longer necessary), but then it suddenly springs back into visible state, since it is supposed to remain visible as long as Start Menu is open

This unnecessary initial withdrawal of taskbar is not present in 1809.

Interesting. That's really annoying. The thing should stay put until mouse leaves the full taskbar area.

If you have a NVIDIA Graphics card paired with a Intel Core i7 2600K (potentially on a 2500K aswell), you will get code 43 error on the latest Nvidia driver 430.64.

In case someone stumbles across this issue when updating to 1903.

I can't replicate that on my 3 Windows 10 v1903 machines. The mouse stay perfectly still.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the mouse stay perfectly still". The issue is, again, about the taskbar, not about the mouse.

Clicking on the "Searching Windows" for Search Settings while having the "Windows Search" service disabled causes the Settings to crash.

Yes, I remember that I mentioned that recently:
    New Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast+Skip Build 18898 (20H1) - May 15

In the Feedback hub there are some comments about that.

Does not happen if you don't have auto-hide on. I never use auto-hide.

Does anyone have to know the particular Broadcom driver(s)? A few months ago, I made the single worst tech purchase of my life, an Asus PCE-AC88 WiFi adapter, and it has constant issues with disconnects over 5GHz. But it's been doing this constantly even with 1809, so this bug really interests me. It's the only device in my house that this happens to, and I've found many others with the same issue on 5GHz. It's fine on 2.4GHz, but you don't pay $100 for a WiFi adapter to use on 2.4GHz. Asus doesn't care, as evidenced by their response (none) to the many complaints on this. I have tried every version of bcmpciehd63.sys I have found online, but no luck.

After upgrade to 1903 I had this ESENT error over and over in event viewer.

    svchost (4304,R,98) TILEREPOSITORYS-1-5-18: Error -1023 (0xfffffc01) occurred while opening logfile C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database\EDB.log.

Solution was to go to Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\

Create the folder TileDataLayer then inside that folder create Database folder.

After I did that Windows automatically placed all the files in the Database folder.

Edit: I see this was already known in the insiders thread but I was not in the insiders program so I did not look at that thread before posting. You would think MS would have fixed this before release to the public.

    Attachment 234786
Thanks for the solution. Just implemented and will check on next restart.

For those who might get stuck, path should be

    C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\

Just offering a minor correction...... thanks again.
