• What browser are you using it on?
• Are you using IDM's v6.33?

Although the IDM site states that it is compatible for all browsers listed, the microsoft store only lists the version for Edge. And you need to be at build 15063.0 or higher.

That would lead me to believe that even though IDM's site says IDM is compatible for a wide range of OS's (10 to Vista) and browser's, the store is only offering a version for Edge, I haven't checked the store to see if there are other browser versions. If you're trying to use IDM on another browser It may not be as compatible as IDM believes it is.

Yea, I did a search after posting in utilities and tools and the edge one is the only result for IDM.

I mean. that issue isn't present on the 1809 only on 1903.. its not anything related to browser its a 3rd party app itself on the Windows. 3rd party downloader.

• A lot has changed from 1809 to 1903. What's good one day could be bad the next.
• How can you be sure it's not a browser issue? Unless you try it with Edge.

What do you mean by browser issue? the extension on Edge is not even installed. only on chrome.

Hi,
Never seen it before so can't say what it's connected to besides the obvious naming

I'd look at task manager and see what is listed there when it's open
Also look at the startup list for something related.

Post a screen shot of task manager listings if it's on it.
