Updated to 1903 (OS build: 18362.116) yesterday...

The color ICC profile bug is back!

Just like after previous major updates to the OS the color profile reverts when going fullscreen (exclusive or borderless). It also does not get applied when powering off and then back on. This is with a Nvidia card (GTX 1080). I had the 399.24 drivers installed then updated to the current 430.64 and still the same problem with the color profile not sticking.

Also of note: if you update your Windows to 1903 make sure to re-install your video card drivers. If you check GPU-Z after the update you will notice that OpenCL is not available.

I read that the transparency bug of the Action Center during its animation and the Task View animation bug are still there.

One thing I'm really curious about is the ancient animation bug of opened windows when hovering on the "view desktop" button in the right below corner. You can see it here starting from 0:19:

    Is this still in 1903?

Give Access to HOMEGROUP still listed

The ominous "Give Access to (non-existant) Homegroup" is still present in File Explorer

Anyone know how to change your update frequency settings in the pro version (may update) ?
The options seem to have completely disappeared on mine.

I thought it looked weird, but I wasn't sure if that transparency bug of the Action Center was actually a bug.

It's a bug that appeared 7 months ago:

I'll add one not on the list that I had. May be posted or covered somewhere else, but there are a lot of threads to go through.

Settings>Apps crashes. Very simple fix.... Go to System>Storage>Apps and Features and click on that. It will take you to the same as Settings>Apps. And, the Settings>Apps will not crash anymore.

    Thanks TC.

    Did the trick very nicely.

After upgrade to 1903 I had this ESENT error over and over in event viewer.

    svchost (4304,R,98) TILEREPOSITORYS-1-5-18: Error -1023 (0xfffffc01) occurred while opening logfile C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database\EDB.log.

Solution was to go to Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\

Create the folder TileDataLayer then inside that folder create Database folder.

After I did that Windows automatically placed all the files in the Database folder.

Edit: I see this was already known in the insiders thread but I was not in the insiders program so I did not look at that thread before posting. You would think MS would have fixed this before release to the public.

It seems there are less of major bugs compared to the disastrous 1809 release. The extra testing did its job. Now on the next release. Let's see even less bugs.

Thank you for posting that. I had the same errors. A nice, elegant solution.
