1903 is full of problems. A detail list can be found in Australian personal Computer magazine August edition or at website docs.microsoftt.com/en-us/windows/release-information/status-windows-10-1903 The fix is suppose to be kb4505057 but couldn't download it. So my problems still exist. Many have issued fixes but none I tried worked. Why does Microsoft continue to release bad software.
attempt on Win10 1809 LTSC
how to get ride of this attempt ? I do not want to upgrade
You're in a tough position if you are using Home edition.
You can not get rid of attempts, you can only delay the inevitable. If you had the 1903 version of Home it would be easier and Roaster Men asks a pertinent question, what edition of 10 do you have? Home, Pro, Enterprise, Education??
If you have the pre 1903 version of Home you might have some luck using Option Two here You'll have to use the registry editor to search for the appropriate folder in step 2. and then in step 4. the features key to change its value and step 5. to change the deferment for quality updates.
But, There are no guaranty's that the keys you are looking for will be there. I've tried changing values in the registry only to find the keys not set yet because I wasn't up to the version that puts them in there.
As for the 0x80240034 error try running the update troubleshooter. Here's a tutorial to get you there.
First, welcome to TenForums, Allant.
Secondly, what we get is a Preview (Beta) version of Windows 10. By definition, it's a "not ready for Prime Time" version of Windows 10.
As Insiders who are privileged to get the "first look" at each new version, we're supposed to find and report bugs. Simple as that.
Edit: Although 1903 has been released to the public, there may still be some bugs that need to be ironed out. However, I don't have any real problems with it.
Then I would believe you do have those defer keys in your registry, have you checked for them and if you do have them reset their values to the max as shown in the tutorial and go from there.
And just for grins run that update troubleshooter, it won't hurt and may possibly help clear up problems with updates.
