Well I got it. Took all of 4hours last evening, but I got it. (7:50pm started D/L & Install - 12:05am Done)

Though I won't complain after seeing 5,6,7, 8hours! for some. There were some reeaallly long pauses on the % - percentage meter, I thought computers were to make our lives easier and - faster -- ?

I'm retired but I feel like I'm workin' part-time for microsoft.... Oh well on to 19H2?

I know this has been said many, many times but you can get it any time you want. Just not via Windows Update, yet. Use

Update to Latest Version of Windows 10 using Update Assistant

Behaves much like Windows Update. Worked beautifully for me after I tired of waiting for WU to give it to me.

I know ZT I used UA to go from 03 to 09 and it was a pleasant experience and a lot quicker than WU. This keeps up I'll be using it all the time.

Windows Update Assistant was an excellent experience for me...i did it after a friend on this forum mentioned he did it on FOUR computers and they all went smoothly...Highly recommended and this way you won't have wait and wait and wait....

That is probably why "A long time ago" as you mentioned. This seems very recent with TrendMicro (ESET)
Just to point out the obvious - TrendMicro and ESET are different AV products!

Well, well, well...Look what the cat dragged in. Attachment 237641After posting my rant.Microsoft finally got around to informing me, about the statue of the 1903 update, as it relates to my machine. How ironic it that?If I was a conspiracy minded person.I would think, that there was a Microsoft Mole, reading my rant, then scurrying off to report it to the powers that be. My question is... What makes my computer not ready for this update and how was this determined? This seems very vague/unclear to me.
I had to update the BIOS on two machines (my wife's Ryzen 7 HP laptop, my youngest daughter's HP Spectre x360 15) before I could get the update to install on their laptops. Make sure you have the latest and greatest BIOS. YMMV.

Thanks, Murph, for the quick edit! Had me scratching my head on that one, and too early, and only 1 cup of coffee!

That may change on Patch Tuesday....

If the MS 'resolution' can be taken at face value, the 18362.30 media should be able to do an in-place upgrade with USBs attached, provide you let it check for updates as part of the upgrade.
