Since we are on a tuesday, Microsoft are maybe pushing out this update to more users today. Mine already checked earlier today so if there's a push to me I will get it tomorrow. I will mention it in here if I get it tomorrow, not that it matters to many people if I do, but whatever.

However this time I will just wait until dust settles - something tells me that I won't be wrong with this approach even though all previous upgrades were ultimately fine.
Well, if you have a verified full system backup and a restore USB, there's no real reason to wait too long.

Apologies, but I really don't have a time for such joyous exercises. i rather have system that works 100% - especially when I need it.

EDITED TO ADD: This is not to say that I do not create backups or have no access to recovery disks, obviously!

Better to have never been offered the update in the first place than to have it offered for a week and then yanked from me.

I don't have any of the known issues so it must be one of those pesky "unknown issues."

Upgraded my major production system to 1903 without incident.
All my systems are now complete with 1903.

I'll monitor them for anything erratic.

I just got through mounting 1903 iso from 1709 where all windows updates setting were intact
1903 still does not show the 365 date delay...

...First attempt was from 1803 same freaking update option missing.

Known bug. The option to defer feature updates vanishes if it has a non-zero number of days. Was it set to defer by one or more days before you upgraded to 1903? If so, that would explain it.

If you set a non-zero number of days to defer features updates or quality updates then they disappear from the Advanced options.

...The contents of these Windows Update settings pages are only refreshed when you check for updates, either the automatic check or manually. Set a number of days then check for updates will make the option(s) disappear straight away.

Using Regedit to set 'DeferFeaturesUpdatePeriodInDays' or 'DeferQualtyUpdatePeriodInDays' back to zero in the key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings will make them visible again (after another 'check for updates').

For those that didn't get update offered automatically, it may be just a case of "wasn't your turn"! How else to explain when I didn't get it offered but when I used same ISO it updated without a hitch ?

Mum hasn't been offered the update yet, we're in no rush so will just wait until it's our turn.

Just rolled back from 1903 to my good "old" 1809.
Upgraded with the upgrade-assistent and with DVD , tried three times , could not get rid of some pretty stubborn errors in the eventviewer ( VSS ID=8193 and ID=13 ) , no matter what I tried , these errors came back !!
Second ; when setting this site background on a nice screen , I got black screens during going from one page to the next ( choosen) page . Only by settings background on "default " all went well .
Third ; I did not noticed real improvements, after the upgrade, at all !

So , all together , made my decision of going back to 1809 , with my outstanding Macrium backup-CD ...........!!
Will wait , until its offered by WU, and try again.........

Lo and behold... No update… Did you guys click on "check for updates", or was it auto detected in Windows Update as part of the daily check?
