How to get the Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903

I updated 2 machines from 1809 through Update Assistant, a Dell XPS laptop and a Surface Pro 4. The Dell took about 7 hours and the Surface around 45 minutes. Both over a 50 mbps fibre connection. Go figure!
Everything seems OK on both machines though, after I corrected the house LAN password protected sharing settings.

Yesterday I used the Update Assistant trying to install 1903.
It stayed at 78% forever. After more than 6 hours, pissed off and aborted it.
Instead I just downloaded the iso file and did nothing else.

With my newest upgrades I have barely 8 months old system and yet I wasn't offered 1903 although using ISO it installed without a hitch and in record time of 22 minutes. I'm also insider in two rings and get updates the minute they are available. No, there must be something else.
Well, it is a big conundrum. Probably the only way to know is to be part of Redmon's inner circle, and even then...

I finally gave up with the update app and downloaded the ISO. All good now. :)

Anyone using Storage Sense? Is it effective or does it remove things it should leave alone?
It is good and you can set it up to delete temporary files (and exclude downloads folder) to a schedule. Best feature imo is to automatically clear space on OneDrive i.e. only store files on cloud. Before 1809 you had to manually clear space. You can mark files as being on host and cloud and OneDrive leaves them alone.

Only point imo that could be improved is you have to wait 1 day before space is cleared unless you do it manually. I would like to see it so you copy a file to OneDrive for upload, and once uploaded, space is automatically cleared immediately. Not a big deal but would be a nice additional option.

You meant 1903. 1908 will never be out (tongue in cheek)!

I honestly cannot answer that, since I rolled back to 1809 the next day after installing 1903 because of many bugs to be fixed. I am going to wait at least two CUs post-1903 before having another go at it.

Thanks for the feedback @cereberus I'll try it on one computer first.
