    Not sure what version of Windows you are on....is it Insider?....if not turn on Storage sense (just above your encircle)

    Its not Insider, its actually what was released on Tuesday of this week. I upgraded a W10 Tablet, but noticed that there used to be a button to free up space in 1809, but under 1903, there nolonger is a Button to select to free up space. Your screen shot looks just like mine.

    However, if you click on one of the categories, it will present you with a list of items that can be removed. Thanks for you help

    Not sure "Storage Sense" is the way to go ? Why because you still have to tell it to remove windows update crap.

    I just wanted to clean up all of the residual junk left by performing a Feature Upgrade before I make a NEW MR Backup of 1903.

    Even after it finished cleaning (using Free Up Space feature), it still left "Windows.old" which was close to 5gb. Had to manually remove that. Current backup Macruim file size is 2.1gb bigger than it was after a clean system in 1809.

    Progress marches on.

    Pic I showed was after I had run it after update. Won't show if not there. It showed 23gb or so of Previous Windows when I did.

    That is what the problem was. Never had this issue before with all the iterations of Windows10. Thank you @IronZorg89.
    You are most welcome!. It had happened to me so many times after a FU that, in a way, I knew that was the reason of the issue.

    That is true, the configuration has been changed from 1809 to 1903. All you have to do is to click on "Configure Storage Sense or Run it" at the top of the window; that should open another window where you have to scroll completely at the bottom and click on "Clean now" button. That should do it. LOL

    I'm ready to give up.
    I have 4 laptops that I am trying to upgrade from 1809 to 1903.

    The oldest one (2 yrs old) I had to replace the hard drive in and it has had problems with booting after installing cumulative updates. It upgraded on the first try with upgrade assistant.

    Another one (1 yr old) I tried every way possible at least a dozen times and it failed every one. Finally I restored it to 1803 and then it upgraded to 1903 with no issues.

    I have two new laptops that are less than a month old and they refuse to upgrade from 1809 to 1903. Again, I have tried everything.
    Nothing external including mouse attached. Plenty of space C: is SSD with 160GB free. D: is 1TB hard drive with 767GB free.
    Latest CU installed. Tried multiple times with ESD Flash drive, Update Assistant online, ESD DVD, and WIM ISO mounted. Uninstalled Antivirus and disabled Malwarebytes.
    Tried with clean boot.

    Every time they fail with 0X800Y70004-0X2000D

    The installation failed in the SAFE-OS phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation.”

    SetupDiag reports fatal migration plug-in failure.
    Plug-in Name = %windir%\system32\migration\SxsMigPlugin.dll
    Migration Operation = IPostApply->PostApply
    Plug-in Error: 0x00000002
    Well I have not given up yet, but I sure am ready.
    I have tried a dozen or more additional times and I still get the same error.
    Error: SetupDiag reports fatal migration plug-in failure.
    Plug-in Name = %windir%\system32\migration\SxsMigPlugin.dll
    Migration Operation = IPostApply->PostApply
    Plug-in Error: 0x00000002

    It goes all the way through to the update processing and then on the final reboot it immediately reverses the changes and reverts back to 1809.
