Last time I did that I had to do clean install. I was in RP ring and because my other one was Skippy I wanted normal 1809 to wait out for 1903.
So you did not have this switch, or flipping this gave you a warning?

@HRPuffnstuff (and others). The MCT makes the ISO for 18362.30. Of course, that will then be updated by Windows Update with the latest cumulative update, currently 18362.116.

18362.30 was the ISO issued last month on MSDN, so it doesn't come as a surprise that the same build was used for the release.

Thanks Bree! I'll just stick with my current 116 build.

Ehm, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect.
I can just flip this switch:

    Attachment 234539
Just wanna quickly re-verify that this is the sanctioned way to get out of the insider preview program, and put my system in a normal, retail, upgradeable state?

By the way, Forceflow, you can only get out of an insider release by a clean install via your disc.

That's what I'm contesting - flipping this switch should get me out of Insider Releases *now*.

Flipped the switch and was told to reinstall to normal version which was 1809 at that time.

As stated above, I have been doing Insider releases, and says this direct message when joining.
"Note: If you want to go back, use the recovery tools and the disc to reinstall Windows"
