I wish Microsoft would tell you what is causing the problem rather than just tell you to wait for them to get around to fixing it. Ak
If this was the 1980's, I would be able to do just that, lol.

    Meanwhile...
I still have one major system that has not been offered 1903 since it was released.
Removed all USB connected peripherals and nothing via a forced WU.
I do know that Microsoft is quietly slipstreaming in additional fixes to the 1903 build.
    Crazy.
    Hi,
I had to manually install the .145 update to 1903
It did fix the apps and features crashing through settings and win-x menu too
No telling why it wasn't offered there were dozens of shown sent reports of crashing.

    No more manual forcing.

I want WU to do the job, as it's supposed to.

    Hi,
You have to be doing something you don't want to be disturbed then before 10 will annoy you about updates

There is still a block on Windows Update offering the May 2019 update if you have moved your Known Folders

I'm hoping that's why I have not got it yet as well, I'm also waiting on Windows Update to do it's job.

Exactly! Good idea. It should list a warning label to 'something' that's causing it to be blocked on a system. I have not been offered this update yet either, and there's no reason for it to be blocked here because I've taken all necessary precautions based on the known issues & blocks list.

Apparently this should be fixed in late May? Unless it has not been fixed yet I don't think this is what's causing the block for me.

You have much more patience than I do. I can't just sit and wait for Microsoft to decide it's my turn to get an update when it's otherwise easily available.

Trust me, this patience is not easy to cope with. I am curious to see what will trigger the update, so that's a major factor to why I don't do it manually. Also I do not want stuff broken if there's actually a block on my PC. Windows Update is there to update my computer, so that's what I will let it do.

That's what backup images are for.
