No crashes in Settings here. Maybe it happens only on *upgraded* systems?

Not everybody has the problem. I have both upgraded and clean install without the problem.

I successfully updated to 1903 but now I'm unable to open the Apps module within Settings. When I click on Apps it instantly takes me to the Desktop. Randomly, after a certain time, it will open properly. Any hint? thanks

The bug happens immediately after restarting Windows, in my case, I can reproduce the bug easily, you just have to restart Windows and when the desktop appears you have to right click on the Start button and then click on "Apps and features", but this should be done immediately after restarting Windows, if you wait a few minutes, the bug can't be reproduce it.

2 desktops and 1 laptop upgraded to 1903 and Settings > Apps opens with no problems on all 3.

2 machines upgraded and Apps seems ok. Had a bit of difficulty with a VM of a fresh install with OOBE errors but google found a solution on this forum from ages ago. Seems the problems with VMs are well documented.

Got my chance this evening using Windows Update to get Version 1903.
    15 Minutes for getting ready
50 Minutes to download (only a 9.1Mbs download service here)
    1hour 5 minutes to install
Then downloaded two additional updates KB4497932, and KB4495620

Everything seems ok so far. Only thing I noticed different was my log on screen picture is out of focus, but everything is clear once I log in. My old Wolfdale processor is doing its thing !
Going to do a system image with Macrium tomorrow.

Believe it or not it's deliberate. To quote MS. We have done this to raise the input box in the visual hierarchy.
