Updating 2 machines right now. I'm going to hold off on the production PC and see when WU will offer. Others I will use the Update Assistant and force-update sooner rather than later. Woo hoo! Here we go...

[PS Added 33 mins later] I got bit on the Lenovo T520 with the "unable to update" error late in the process. Removed the SD media from that PC and trying again (pretty sure that's the cause based on similar experience with my Release Preview Surface Pro 3, on which I also had to remove media to get 1903 to install successfully. Other readers may want to yank SD or microSD cards from their PCs before attempting this upgrade, as a precaution).
[PPS Added 1:16 later] I also got bit during the Lenovo X1 Extreme install, and turned off Secure Boot before my 2nd try. Even after that, I got a DPC Watchdog Violation crash about 47% into the post-GUI install process. Upon reboot, I figured I was toast, but the installer resumed where it left off and ran successfully to completion. For both targeted machines so far for the 1903 upgrade, the installer has been able to recover and complete even in the face of errors. That's a definite improvement in my book over previous Feature Upgrades. I'm surprisingly impressed!

Well done. So did I. Now the burning question of who gets the cookie is.....
Who called it first? I claim the 9th May.
I tried the Update Assistant. It just flashed to a screen saying thank you for updating. I am on Build 1903 Version 18362.116. Is that the release?
And this is why 1809 didn't get the u code update, we're getting it today, because 1903 already has it.
