It is not a Feature update. It is only a Cumulative update.

Does anybody have any insight about this being issued only two days after KB4505056 CU, Build 17763.504.

All the known issues are the same so it's not as though they fixed a big problem then reissued it with a new KB number.

    Yours bemusedly,

They had to rush out 504 because the previous build blocked some UK government sites in IE and Edge. This is in the middle of the run up to the EU elections so I guess they felt they might be accused of interference if they hadn't.

Another cumulative update already? Like I said on the previous threads, here's hoping it fixes my search results box. I hear others are getting the 1903 update after this one? Let's see if I run into similar problems if it's not fixed after this update and I get the 1903 update.

    Nope and nope.
Never mind, it seems to be working now after a random restart.

Installed this CU last night and 1903 is being offered to me today. Judging by the problems posted in the 1903 thread I'll pass for now.

How nice it is for home edition users to have a choice now and not have to run wushowhide every day to block anything unwanted.

so the "Download and Install" option is there today for 1809? it doesn't push 1903 as you click on "Check for Updates?"

I don't know if the download and install option for the 1903 update is there for everybody but it showed up for me pretty quickly.

If you check for updates it absolutely does not push 1903 on you, I tested that out today.

No, it waits until you to click 'download and install now'.
