I suspect it's an attempt to correct the 'egg on face' moment ASAP after they accidentally blocked access to some UK .gov.uk sites. I'm sure MS don't want to get on the wrong side of the UK government.
    Hi there
    @Bree

without getting too much into the realms of Politics I don't think UK Govt such as it exists in its utterly shambolic state currently would even know where their own websites are much less be able to logon to them !!!

I don't think chaos "At the Heart of Westminster" is of a major concern to Ms currently --stock price doing fine in spite of Trump and China spats and they are still at last getting on with the job -- the latest 19H1 release is for the 99% of users who have installed it working efficiently and perfectly correctly. I'd vote on this (the latest 19H1 1903 release) so far as the best release of W10 yet on all sorts of hardware I've tried it on.

For those who want to try it --it's been available on UUPDUMP -- ensure though you backup your current system before installing and remove SD / USB HDD's / thumbdrives before trying to install as this defect still exists --you'll get message "W10 can't be installed on this system".

Again though to repeat ad Nauseam -- do image your systems before applying updates etc. then restoring / recovery is simple if system doesn't work or perform to your satisfaction.

    Cheers

Lol, system imaging is what keeps me alive. I really hate all the work after a clean install.

    Hi there @CountMike

Long time since I enthused over a Windows release --I remember all the excitement back in the days when W7 was being developed and rolled out !!!

I do though think having tried this 19H1 release out on a number of physical and VM machines is the most slick W10 build yet -- definitely slicker than the 1809 builds.

Not sure what your perception is but I'd be interested.

I've done what I shouldn't have is upgraded all my running regular machines to this build -- still got a couple of old 1809 VM's.

The latest 20H1 build I had to abandon -- languages again hosed up after 18895 worked fine --18898 broke them again on a test machine I had.

I know I'll have another update job soon for 19H1 as RP but no complaints with latest (116) release.

Now off with Dog to pub for well deserved "Tea Break" !! Dog likes beer too !!!!!! Anything to avoid supermarket shopping !!!!

    Cheers

Well, WU has auto checked twice since this CU was released and no hits so far. I'm sure it will be along shortly though when the servers get around to it.

When it was initially released it would be delivered automatically by windows update. But MS may have changed its status to an optional update now, in that case you will only get it if you click 'Check for updates'.

As you are in the US it's not really of much interest to you. It only has one fix and that is to fix the blocked Edge/IE access to certain UK .gov.uk websites.
