Don't install any Servicing Stack Updates - if you're going to be making Reference Images.

Once a System is Online, and KB4500109 and KB4505057 is installed... make sure that maintenance doesn't run

I think Update will work with a USB device plugged in after you update to 1903 Build 18362.116.

    Hi folks

When the final is actually released does anybody know if this build (.116) will update to it or will we have to install it again either via MCT or UUPDUMP methods.

This build currently doesn't have any expiry on it but the defect of failing installs and updates when USB devices attached is still present so I'd imagine at least another build to fix that before the Final 1903 before actual RP.

I'm surprised there wasn't anything released yesterday in a normal "Patch Tuesday". I would have thought this type of defect would be quite a high priority for Ms to fix.

    Cheers

It was, so was the MCT. The ISO it makes is for build 18362.30 and that gets this same KB4505057 CU to take it up to .116.

As for the 'can't upgrade from a usb' issue. MS seem to have decided it wasn't sufficiently bad to warrant holding back from release. I guess they expect most users to get the update via windows update.

....To safeguard your update experience, we have applied a hold on devices with an external USB device or SD memory card attached from being offered Windows 10, version 1903 until this issue is resolved.

...Microsoft is working on a resolution and estimate a solution will be available in late May.

Is this perhaps a bug introduced in edge since the update?

When you place the mouse arrow on any space, right or left of the screen, such as when browsing down the topics of MSN's Headlines site , tapping the pg dn arrow key does not make the page scroll. This used to work on edge and does so on other browsers. The scroll bar on the left of screen is still there of course.

Maybe just a glitch as it's suddenly working again.

All 3 of my machines would not update and bring up driver/service fault no matter which way I tried to install......until their network connections were disabled. At least the fault is consistent.
