One happy hp user!
I just got a BIOS update from hp, which brought my CPU microcode revision to the one recommended by intel in its May 14, 2019 microcode update guidance.
The new microcode mitigates the newly found Microarchitectural Data Sampling (MDS) vulnerabilities and since the recommended microcode is loaded by UEFI, there is no need to install the KB4497165, which breaks Sandbox.
The latest one was released 18-June.
But if you haven't installed it, manually (i.e from the Windows Update Catalogue), it's not gonna be anywhere in the updates.
EDIT:
Your CPU is not listed in the update yet (see 1st post)
And another thing. KB4497165 is an update for v1903...be careful.
@IronZorg89: For v8109 the latest microcode update is
KB4494174 Intel Microcode Updates for Windows 10 v1809 - June 18
@IronZorg89, CPUID 306C3 is not listed in KB4494174 Intel Microcode Updates for Windows 10 v1809 - June 18 either.
So I guess you just wait!
