Yes do not install because it don't have the 27 microcode for 306C3. Wait a later revision of the same update.

Theres any fix for enabling TSX instruction on Haswell CPUs with the latest microcode updates?
I mean, it gives a 40% boost on some emulators i like to play, i would like to keep it same if it can be "dangerous" to my system.
Any other downside from not updating the microcode aside from security flaws?

Darn, still nothing for Sandy Bridge. I can't figure out why M$ hasn't pulled the gun on this. Intel released the micro-architectural data sampling microcode updates for all the chipsets concurrently.

It appears to just be an update to the release notes.

I have wondered the same. I did this a while back and ran into that issue. I'm assuming you can just uninstall and reinstall. Shouldn't hurt.
