Downloading from UUPDUMP - I'll update over the next few days may try multiple WU sessions. I do like the disk type enhancement - I'll be interested in how that manifests in VMs.

It took me 2 times for 18895 and only once on 18898. First time I noticed this on task manager/CPU view, 2 tones?? Not showing on the intro shot for the new capability? (one of 4 logical processor shown)

I can get that in 1809, it's the 'Show kernel times' option. It's off by default in 1809, but can be turned on with a right-click.

Have you considered making the ISO with UUP Dump, and doing an In-Place Repair? It's internally not quite the same as upgrading from WU, like you probably did. From ISO, setup.exe will rewrite all components, not just those deemed necessary via WU and it's UUP method. Just a thought. It would save everything you have, no loss of data or apps.

9:43PM just started 18898.1000 on my laptop.
Installing 18895.1000 on my VM, will then do the update to 18898.1000 unless I fall asleep first.

Again configuring updates took over 20 minutes for me but remainder of install went fine.

A couple of days after a successful 18995 install I 'cleaned up' my system using "Storage Sense/Configure .. / Free up space now." That 'clean up' appeared to damage something (maybe related to Mouse Without Borders, as I saw a number of error messages related to MWB.) My system was slow to respond, even though CPU load was small. This slow response was not present prior to the 'clean up.'
So I was glad to see an update was available this morning (AU) and initiated the download.
But everything was still very slow, it took over 2 hours to get to asking for a restart.
The restart sequence was different to previous updates (as well as taking at least twice as long as usual.) I saw the usual restarts at about 30% & 75%. after the restart at 75% it progressed to 85%, then restarted again back at 75%. Then progressed to 100% and restarted as normal.
I now have Build 18998.1000, and it appears to have fixed the slow response. I didn't have to run update the 2nd time, as others have. But the whole update procedure took nearly 3 hours, more than twice as long as usual.
