First attempt failed. Looks like another second attempt release to succeed.
Brink, did you try waiting a few minutes before restarting?

I did. Didn't make any difference.

All done and dusted on Fast and Skippy machines. Both updated on the first try. Letting them "soak" a while before I delete excess files and make Macrium backups.

First try success ~ 27 minutes.

Lots of DCOM errors related to Cortana showing up in the Event Log...anyone else seeing these?

Well. this one was painless, no problems , fast and in one go. As usual it mangled up my multiboot but system checks are all fine. Made an ISO and cleaned up. SFSG.

All done. After restarting I just left it to it while I went to eat. All seems good.

I also figured out how to combine Shawns custom font reg files into a single custom one and so now I have just a single file to click and run to set all the fonts up on each build.

I've done a further restart and am just about to run a disk clean.

Once I had all the fonts, sizes, colors, icon spacing and etc. set the way I wanted, I exported a .reg file of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics and run that on each new Windows build. After a reboot, everything looks the way it should.

It's strange why it needs two goes.
