Considerable number of Event Log errors attributable to Cortana:





Upgraded 18895 > 18898 without any "apparent" issues...other than this.

Has anyone else seen this?

Yeah, been dealing with this for a while now. I use the same technique. The MOST useful app on my system is Object Dock. It allows me to do so many things much quicker than I otherwise would be able to. And it only uses 3.5. Good info! Cheers!

Something I noticed for those interested...
Usually when I clean install a build it comes with the 7 gb reserved space and I have to change the registry setting to disable it when the next build comes....I clean installed this build and had no 7 gb reserve space...good news for me lol

downloaded and installed and so far no problems

We seem to have 3 steps forward and 2 backwards

Not important for a lot I know but Language display options have got hosed up again from Build 188998.

From 18895 I get this :

I get this :



Doesn't switch with Language / regionalisation settings either.

Might not I know seem very important to a load of English speaking users - especially when the complainer comes from a country with an excellent education system and about 97 % of population probably speak better English than in London !!! -- but if Ms are offering Languages then please implement properly -- especially when it's been working in a release just available about 1 week before !!!!!.

Playing with the new search feature..have a couple of questions..

With the new search feature how do you clear the search history?

How can I reset the search this PC and address bar to its default position or layout...I started resizing and would like to know how to put it back to default..
