This is getting silly. After the successful (albeit after two passes) install on Patch Tuesday....

Looks like it wants a third go!

I told you, everything is fine, no need to worry! Everything is fine! You have a new CPU which is not exposed to all those CVE

Check the link I posted for you to be more sure.

Check your mother download page is correct
ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (WI-FI) BIOS & FIRMWARE | Motherboards | ASUS Global

Download and install the Intel ME update dated 14/5

And install the latest bios Version 1005

Unfortunately your mother manufacture didn't update the Microcode to version 14/5 yet, so you have to wait for windows to release it.

Run CMD as admin and execute these commands, and wait for the new Microcode to be released.

    Code:
    reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 72 /f

    reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverrideMask /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f

Important, you need to update Intel ME

No restart was asked for, but it lists as successfully installed. Odd...

Check this link ASUS Update of Intel management engine firmware-Laptop Reviews

Download and extract the file MEUpdateTool_12.0.35.1427.ZIP

Make sure you close all other application, run MEUpdateTool.exe as administrator and follow the instructions, don't interrupt,

    reboot once done

Knowing your expertise, I suppose you are already on OS Build: 17763.503 in winver. After your post, I went to "Check for Updates", but I didn't get it for a third round. This is getting silly is just an understatement. Same can be said about those side-channel vulnerabilities.

It says: Warning! Please check MEI is installed (but i think it's installed).

You and all people, if you want to enable all mitigations, runs CMD and admin and execute:

    Code:
    reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 72 /f

    reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverrideMask /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
Reboot windows and return the results, leave these options

About MDS mitigation, I guess we have to wait for the microcode update revision 14/05
    Hi JenyJ,

As I said in my post, I applied some registry tweaks. Specifically, these ones:

    Code:
    reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 8264 /f

    reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverrideMask /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
As far as I can tell, the only thing I accomplished was to disable hyper-threading (which protects against ZombiLoad). It did not take care of SSBD. Am I missing something?
