That makes sense as long you didn't install the new Microcode, which still not releases.

You can check with me here https://www.catalog.update.microsoft...ws+x64+10+1809
Thanks for the link referencing to the MUC, but I already have all of those updates installed on my system, specifically the latest SSU KB4499728 without which all those CUs wouldn't be able to install since the time of its release.

You should always keep your MEI firmware updated, to the contrary of what all manufactures advise, that unless it is necessary so no need as it is risky.

MEI can control your PC even if it is turned off, it is like PC inside your PC, unfortunately there are no documentations from Intel, so no one no how it does work, it what it can do exactly.

The best way to update your MEI firmware is to check station-drivers Firmwares

Unless you know what are you doing, please don't update anything, if you want you can write your model and I will advise how to do it.

Not MEI(windows driver) but ME the autonomous subsystem on the Intel CPU's PCB.

This is exactly what I was talking about in my previous post #167. Sorry to put it bluntly like this, but this is really getting "ridiculous" for lack of a better word...

I still have an issue with my Context Menu "New" hanging up; when will MS fix that one?
Hang in there dusty it could be as soon as the end of the month:

The key alphanumeric set is 19H1 and that translates to build 1903 and that, a little birdie tells me could be as soon as the end of this month (May 2019). The O18U is 1809.

The current plan is to have the Windows 10 May 2019 Update roll out at the end of May, as its name suggests, avoiding some of the awkward problems of the last update. In fact, this update has entered the final stage of its testing, so it really does look like the update will make it out during its titular month for once.

Hey, I'm having trouble getting this update. I actually installed it fine two days ago, the way it installs twice etc, but I had to restore from an older OS image and now this update can't be found in Windows update. I get the Net and Flash updates, but not this one.

Any idea what's going on? Did MS pull it? I've been checking for a hew hours now, but no luck.
