    And as a side note, you don't need to run the import-module command, in Powershell V4.0 and later, once you save the module in a folder included in the environment variable PSModulePath.
    The folder "$env:ProgramFiles\WindowsPowerShell\Modules" is included, so any modules saved in there, are accessible by Powershell, without importing them.
    Ok, I have Powershell 2.0 I think, native win10 default.
    Maybe it would pay to upgrade but I rarely use powershell as you can see.
    Anyway thanks for help I wasted a day trying many things.

    On windows 10 you have at least PS 5.1 installed:

    $PSVersionTable, you are right 5.1.17763.503, same as your pic.

    Edit, I checked the environment variable PSModulePath and my path is %SystemRoot%\system32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\.
    So do I just add "$env:ProgramFiles\WindowsPowerShell\Modules" to the PSmodulePath path list?
    Also are you limited to one path, which then would have only $env:ProgramFiles\WindowsPowerShell\Modules" listed.

    Seems you can just ammendpath list with ; between paths.
    They also show PS way to add path, I think I will just edit the environment variable PSModulePath manually in control panel.
