I only do this on old PCs using legacy bios (non-UEFI) chips. I don't use this on modern UEFI systems.
OK. Why, if it is your own system?

do you need to know why?

I have several old PCs using legacy BIOS chips (yeah I don't have the latest PCs but so what - they work) and I'm ok with enabling the legacy boot menu on them.

only UEFI based system I have is my dad's Toshiba 2013 laptop

    moving on

cuz it's UNnecessary on uefi and F8 may not always work on some uefi systems
I'm ok just to use "Shift + Restart" or Shift + Reboot (aka hold Shift key while clicking on Restart) for any uefi based machine
move on, bro - we should be done with this

Getting back on track, I'm so looking forward to getting this update. I have Insiders buts it's on an old laptop I rarely use.

Can't wait to see this on my desktop as well as my 2-in-1 convertible laptop
