I've had update successes on the first shot (mostly) and some on 2nd or 3rd and some it corrupted Windows and I had to restore with a Macrium Reflect full disc image from a prior version and then it installed.
I have a dual boot system, my Win 10 Pro recording studio "production system" on one SSD and the Insider on a separate SSD.
Wow, no GSOD this time!!!!
Interestingly, it seemed to find something that needed fixing at the 86% mark and it seems to have done some correcting action with several restarts and then it reverted back to 75% then finished AOK. Better than the GSOD and start again.
18895 completed in 45 Minutes without trouble. ISO created. I only installed this to keep my record since I have installed all builds going back to 2015 without failure (with the help of this forum members on occasion).
WEK
When I went to shutdown my laptop that was in sleep mode the update was already at 68% so left it alone. Guess MS decided to give me the update even if I didn't want it. I'll see how it goes when I get back home.
A few moments ago I began to notice a high usage of my CPU so I opened the task manager and the culprit was the Windows Update process, it turns out that I just received this build trough WU, the "strange" thing about this is that my OS version is one of those mentioned in the flight notes and that supposedly would not receive this build...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit, I just looked at UUP dump and it seems that this build is now available in all the languages and versions that are mentioned in the flight notes.
This flight won’t be available for the following editions:
Windows 10 Home N x64 in HU-HU and PT-PT.
Windows 10 Home x64 in CS-CZ, ES-ES, and KO-KR.
Windows 10 Professional x64 in LV-LV and ES-MX.
