OK, color setting it is! Thanks everyone. Before considering how this discrepancy could occur, I never would have believed that you could dictate the color used on a setup screen outside of Windows.
I have a custom green accent color on my system . The 1st reboot screen after a new build install is always blue. I always initiate a second restart after installing an update, as in the past I have had to do this to enable some items.

An hour and ten minutes from checking for updates to back online. a little faster than build 18894.

I have Vipre Advanced Security and Malwarebytes Premium running on my system with periodic scans by Windows Security. Often the periodic scans have been disabled after a build update, but this time it survived the update.

Update for the fun of it... It was ready in 32 minutes a minute less than build 18894.

    No surprises here!

I'm with Kari. I'm going to pass on this build. I'm not going to waste time and chance breaking a working build just to fix a feature I'm not going to use.
Same, I can't understand why this could not wait until next flight, who cares about the phone app.
    Does anyone here use it.
This sort of MS judgement really puts me off being an 'insider', really think they treat us all with contempt.
And yeah, no one is forcing us to do this.

    Hi there

The VMware issue is infintely more important to me than some piddling little phone app -- in any case my view is that some people spend far too much time on those things already !!! Should be made illegal for people (especially women pushing babies) using those while crossing busy streets. !!

I assume though there really is more under the hood in this release than just a fix to a lousy phone app -- probably some internal design changes not published to the general users at large

I got that KB update actually presented to me on 18894 anyway. !!!

    Cheers

I thought I was the only one left on earth that used that! (last thing I made was an Avatar)
Used it for that very purpose when it was born. Those were the days when bloatware wasn't included in the package

Several more unsuccessful attempts this morning...finally solved by opening Services.msc and disabled Windows Update.
Restarted computer, changed Disabled to Automatic, restarted computer and bingo!!!!!!
