hmm I'll try to remember to disable Defender before next update, see if that prevents the failed installs.

This release won't let me shut down a VM properly with HYPER V

I can though power it off

I'll totally uninstall VMWARE and give it another go -- maybe there are some VMWare services still running

Mine failed the 1st time at the 3rd getting ready stage.
2nd time at 67% installing .
After a reboot, it worked.

mine was really weird.
User profile not found - after required pin login (pin/password NOT set??) -- hard reboot same error, -- normal shutdown restart gave me a basic default profile - NO personal settings/programs-- went to bed
Fired up this morning Hey Ho everything good.
