I'm curious as to how everyone will acquire 1903, as a clean install, or just add it as a major update to your OS?
I think this is a personal choice. You can go either way, depending on whether you want to start anew because of previous problems or keep on going with no clean install on a system that has been behaving normally with no previous big issues.

Went back to 17763 again using Macrium which was not as bad as I was only using the May update for two weeks so there was not too many things to update.

If I was to update 17763 to the may update I would get the latest update installed no problems until another CU is pushed in the future that will fail to install.

I will wait until there is a proper MCT so I can do a proper inplace upgrade.

"The new Download and install now option provides users a separate control to initiate the installation of a feature update on eligible devices with no known key blocking compatibility issues"

Can anyone tell me what is a key blocking compatibility issue?

Superficially, I can tell you it can be related to insufficient storage space, Display adapters and A-V not up-to-date, hardware compatibility issue. For a greater look at what at stake you can always read this article:

I guess I just meant what is "key blocking". Did not see anything in the article.

In this context "key" means principal or main or essential. That's the way I understand it.

I just do not get all this about when will it be released. It can be installed now and it will get updated. Live on the edge and go for it.

You don't hear me asking when ? Because there is nothing in that FU that I can think of that I could need (Been running one in hyper-V for the last 30 days) yawning

Not to my knowledge, unless somebody can say otherwise. Pretty sure if that were the case, tenforums would have already known about it.
I was just curious is all. I didn't think it did, but there are so many posts and threads on here and I didn't wanna read through all of them. . lol

Certainty not a clean install which requires significant effort to reinstall and configure all programs and accounts! Always make a system backup before a feature upgrade. I always defer feature upgrades for 6 months to allow time for MS to fix the inevitable initial problems.

Not sure your point. I was just saying if you want it, get it. Sure some are conservative and want to wait for final issue but in the end, no guarantee if final issue will be any better than where we are.
