Good to see that. Least they fessed up politely and honestly, and are doing the right thing. Can't undo the past.
Maybe MS should take some lessons in humility from Mozilla!

Well, they have yet to fix any legacy Firefox, 56 & below. I know some folks that are running older versions out of necessity due to older software/computers or because they don't want to give up certain plugins. Not a good idea I know, but FF should issue a fix for the older versions also.

Makes me wonder, some are accusing FF of using this as a way of eliminating older versions being used so they have no choice but to upgrade. As I said, it's not good from a security standpoint, but Quantum doesn't run well on some peoples PC's/Lappy's & they have no choice.

And yes, there are other browser choices, but people go with what they like or want, so I believe it would be a good idea for Mozilla to issue a fix for the older versions as well. The people that stick to those older versions are now vulnerable to malware (unless they apply temp fixes) & that's not helping keeping the spread of it down.

Follow through on every aspect of this Mozilla, fix the older browsers so the rest of us aren't at risk due to your hesitancy to make a fix for ALL versions of FF.
