    Hi folks

    Just noticed a problem (at least on my system) with Macrium in this build -- can't create rescue (stand alone bootable) media -- Macrium from within Windows runs though.

    I've posted details in the Backup section of the Forum. No problem though with Macrium on 19H1 and 20H1 builds.

    W10 build 17763.475 macrium create rescue media fails

    Cheers

    Hi there
    @CountMike
    I've probably got a corrupt system !!! with all the fiddling around with this release. Going to skip this release anyway -- I'm now forgetting VMWare and going for 20H1 -- I can overcome the HYPER-V limitation of funny and non re-sizeable screens on Linux VM's by using RDP which works fine and I'm not bothered about Sound on the VM - it's a backup server, file server and multi-media server and it works fine on 20H1 (with USB attachments too).

    VMWare are going to lose clients if they don't get the post 1809 problems with Windows sorted out.

    Cheers

    I have a feeling that some of those troubles are because of tinkering with sandbox. As soon as it and stuff required for it to run, I get problems not only with VMware but also some things that depend on anything virtual, Ryzen Master, a program for setting, checking and OC-ing CPU stops working to with some message about virtual machines.

    It is very, very odd that VMWare running in 1903 will run an 1809, a 20h1(any flavor), but will not even attempt to run itself, not even a clean VM install from a 18362.86 ISO. Never makes it past attempted boot. Lovely blank screen. Reboot 1903 and move on. But, this is all old news. Just repeating frustration.
