    3.3.1 Storage device size

    Devices that run Windows 10 for desktop editions must include a storage device that meets the size requirements shown in Table 12.

    Table 12: Storage size requirements for devices that run Windows 10 for desktop editions

    OS architecture OS version Storage capacity
    Windows 10, version 1809 and prior 32-bit 16 GB or greater
    64-bit 20 GB or greater
    Windows 10, version 1903 32-bit and 64-bit 32 GB or greater
    Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, version 1903 and prior 32-bit 16 GB or greater
    64-bit 20 GB or greater

    Please clarify for me as I am not sure of my interpretation of this announcement.
    It says " 1903 32bit and 64-bit Storage Capacity 32GB "

    Question :
    32GB of FREE disk space ?

    I am not using desktop nor laptop computers anymore.

    What I am using now has 28.3GB free of 57.3GB.
    That's now enough to update to 1903 ?

    I guessing since the MS Doc says 32GB or greater, it's the device itself.

    Correct, you now need at least a 32GB drive to install Windows 10 1903.

    English is not my first language. There are times I have trouble understanding.

    Do you mean as long as my Storage Capacity is 32GB or better, I am good to go, and I do NOT need to have 32GB free disk space?

    That's where the tricky part comes in. MS has this new Reserved Space thing coming out, to help ensure there is enough space for updates on the main drive. If not, it has some way of guiding you to use other attached devices. I'm not clear on that either. Sorry.

    Usually it's for how much space you need to be able to install Windows 10.
