Well fellas I removed my sd card and attempted the 1903 install which succeeded then I applied the CU which also completed. Once finished I shut her down and reinstalled the sd card and she's running fine now.

Saw this message in the Apps crash troubleshooting loop. Only when trying to live upgrade from the ISO image. The upgrade won't work with that message = we must exit.
The link is helpful, because they ask to check privacy settings and WU setup...
I wonder what my iLok dongle will do? Its not assigned a drive letter so it may be OK
Hi there
following instructions - update works fine --- I had a micro sd card inserted into an SD card adapter -- removed and update worked OK -- used uupdump method.

So any USB device with a Drive letter is an effective way to indefintely postpone the update on a Windows 10 Home device?
Actually, I got the "This PC can't be upgraded to Windows 10" message when trying to upgrade my Teaching Lappy. However, I created a USB drive using Rufus and did a clean install of 18362.1, which was no big deal, since that machine is quite lean and everything's on my external drive. The install worked fine.
Maybe it worked because I did a clean install? Shawn? @Brink?
