    I have upgraded to 1903 and is running fine.
    However, I'm missing "Friendly dates" and "Settings will now show your account details at the top of the home page" features that were announced for this 1903 version.

    Does anyone else have this problem?
    Both of those options, best of my knowledge, were, and still are, in A/B testing. Some have, some don't. I have 4 separate Fast/Skippy builds. 2 have them, 2 don't.

    I believe @Bree has the low-down on why. Something to do with the XML file for telling it what to do. Maybe he'll pop in and post it here, or point you to it.

    Yes, all MCTs require a Products.xml to tell them which files to download. Normally that is downloaded from the update servers when you run the MCT. Up to and including 1809 the MCT was hard-coded to look for it's own specific Products.xml, if it couldn't find it (because you were running a leaked MCT) then it would fail and tell you to download the current MCT. The MediaCreationTool1903.exe is different, it will download the latest available Products.xml, which at the moment happens to be for 1809, build 17763.379.

    You don't even need to make the ISO to prove that this is the case. Just run the 1903 MCT as far as the 'Getting a few things ready' stage. You will find the products.xml dated 14 March 2019 in C:\$Windows.~WS\Sources. It starts with....

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <MCT>
    <Catalogs>
    <Catalog version="1.3">
    <PublishedMedia release="" id="">
    <Files>
    <File id="">
    <FileName>17763.379.190312-0539.rs5_release_svc_refresh_....

    In order to make 1903 media you need the products.xml for 18362. That (and I have been watching all the 'usual suspects') has NOT been leaked. If it had, then you put the products.xml inside a products.cab, place that in the same folder as the MCT, then run the command: MediaCreationTool1903.exe /SelfHost

    That was a year ago, judging by this post of yours....

    i downloaded UUP files at uupdump.ml and created ISO file.
    i selected Windows 10 Insider Preview 10.0.18362.30 (19h1_release) amd64
    i'm burning the ISO to DVD right now. nice that it fits onto a DVD disc. some Windows 10 ISOs are now too big to burn to DVD..
    i'll install onto my 2nd boot SSD drive and still leave my main production drive as it is - it will be hidden while i test this v1903.
    there is an update to 18362.53 i believe. i'm not sure if i should install it or not. if not i'll have to change Windows Update options to defer the update for x days.

    So did I. I have a VM that I prepared for this. It's a clone of my main machine.

    I let windows update install it, no obvious downsides. It is a 'Patch Tuesday' update, so it does have new security fixes in it. There is a known issue that 18362.53 cannot be upgraded to Insider preview 20H1 build 18875 (not that either of us are likely to want to try that). For more, see....

    ...This update also includes security updates that come as part of the normal monthly Patch Tuesday release cycle.
