    Thankyou Imod post #160.
I'd tried the usual routine renaming SoftwareDistribution in Safe Mode and so on. SFC checks etc several times to no avail. I followed your description to the letter, and it went in no problem.
    Much obliged.
Epidemic solution! Welcome to the Ten Forums @BobClay, @QMNXUK.
Special thanks to @dmcginvt for this quick fix and original solution.

    All the best,

I have been unable to update to 18875 regardless of what I try. I keep getting a 0xca00a000 error at different stages of the update. I have restored 3 different images, to a clean install, but it always crashes, with the same error! Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Stop the update service and delete every thing In the downloads folder of software distribution .... Disable the windows search service...reboot...start the update service and check for updates...this really works...I did it this morning after reading g the others did it..

I'm afraid that this is above my ability. I would need a step by step process to even attempt this

Let's be honest - improvements for Asian input whilst a good thing is hardly anything to write home about. When are we going to see some real new features we can really get our teeth into.

With all due respect to MS and UUP... this is not what Insiders should be burdened with.. testing new features yes, but this? it's appalling TBH! ( so there's my vent for the day )
