I still have an issue with my Context Menu "New" hanging up; when will MS-13 fix that one?

Oh no it's my old portable app called "SayTime 95 V 4.05 that gives that error when starting it. VB6 or some VB error. Thanks Mike Roesoff. (╯ ͡° ل͜ ͡°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Been using that since Windows 95! It's the the best!
    Back to 8.1 WMC
Need to clean install 10 or fix VB. Tried win95 compatibility mode. Nope. Any ideas?

Exactly what happeded to me too. I pushed reset button and after boot the computer freezes on the windows login screen. I was able to boot up in safe mode, uninstalled this update, booted normally and everything is working again. I used the microsoft troubleshooter app to hide this update for now since windows automatically wants to install it again and everytime it resulted my computer being frozen.
It only happened the one time on one machine. I have 5 others but they don't get used as much as the primary desktop.

They look exactly like the 'improvements and fixes' I had in my win7 security update this morning. MS also put the Meltdown and Spectre updates in the update, it put a very noticeable performance hit on the ol' girl (slower).

No word yet on this update, last checked 4/08/19 8:47pm

Should I reinstall the cumulative update to have "Improvements and fixes" updated 4/10?

    Thank you.
