I suspect that is what Avira support collector is doing now. Occasional errors going back in time nothing specific

    Source: avgntflt
    Description: TIMEOUT<csrss.exe> C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira\Antivirus\somemodule.dll
    1. Are these warnings present in system log?
    2. If yes, what is datetime stamp of the most recent occurrence?

If any SW would give me as much as 10% of the grief like this one does, I would drop it like a hot potato.
yup, I'd ditch Avira and go with another reliable AV like Kaspersky 2019, which seemed to have released a 1903/19H1 compatible patch a day before the KB4493509 update for v1809 came out. it'll be weeks before avira would even release an updated version that would be compatible with the upcoming 1903 release

I,m quite happy with WD as only resident AV, no need for anything else. It's actually quite good comparing to any free AV.

Just my two cents on that.
I've been using Windows Defender (and its older sibling Microsoft Security Essentials, during the W7 era), without any issue at all, for at least 9 years. It serves the purpose and I don't see any reason, why pay the premium AVs to do the exact same thing + add headaches.
As a side note, the last 4 years I also added Malwarebytes in the equation and I'm more than pleased with their performance.
