Except that with Premium, WD is disabled, but either way you are OK.

    ....and it's not.

p.s. - I add exclusions to both for each other, to avoid fighting in the sandbox. But this is way OT, so back to your regularly scheduled thread......

Au contraire mon ami….it is not, or rather, one can simply select "Never register Malwarebytes in the Windows Action Center" in the MB settings...et voila...WD & MB play happily with one another...

You are right and you have even mentioned it in another post, as far as I remember.

Both MB and WD slow my pc, but not enough for most to notice, just being picky on my part. Also both of them work fine with either option in the settings on my PC. I used to use Avira years back and quit because of other reasons also. I have went back to NOD32 and this update the thread is about, is causing no issues with my choice.

Probably the MBAM thread when it was going bonkers a couple months ago, but, as I said, way OT, so.....

Indeed, there is some slowdown with MB Premium. Essentially, it boils down to personal experience with a given product and some degree of one's "presumed" security comfort with said product. I have always had "no" intrusions when using MB ...at least to date...hence, a rather "comfy" experience...

Nothing against Avira, but most people are only using Windows Defender (WD) + Malwarebytes free edition. With this combo, I am pretty sure you will have less headache. Just saying!

They (MS) are going to put some real improvement in the upcoming FU 19H1 at the end of next month. . . . . .

Great! Thanks for the info and the links!
