One negative result from the Cumulative Update: hovering over a pinned taskbar icon normally highlights the icon. Upon removing the mouse cursor, the highlight goes away. It no longer goes away. Only by highlighting another taskbar icon does the highlight go away. Of course, now the other taskbar icon has the highlight. I had to highlight an active taskbar icon to make the inactive taskbar icon no longer highlighted.

Hmmm ... That's weird. Mine still works as usual. The active one is bright. The inactive ones get the dim highlight as the mouse hovers, without sticking even if there is no active one.

Day one of upgrade to Windows 10 i never saw Windows update in control panel like Windows 8.1 and even up to now.

Anyway I had to take a double look at what he wrote myself.

Yeah, i was not questioning fact he said wasn't in Settings, was still missing in control panel, i said it was never, in Windows 10 control panel yet.

I spoke and wrote out of habit about Control Panel and Windows Update. I had noticed it 'missing' after the upgrade. And I had been running manually Windows Update from Start Menu/Settings.

Before the Cumulative Update, I had lost the ability to check for updates from Settings. All's well that ends well.

Meaning basically that you were first unaware that Windows update was not still in control panel like Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 when you upgraded ? So after this update all is well with Windows update, now it is been automatic even before update ?

Hello everyone. I had issues with explorer.exe crashing very frequently, about 2-3 times an hour (or if I right click on the network icon in notification area.... or opening control panel from desktop shortcut). This was happening in windows 8.1 before I upgraded to W10. This update seems to have fixed it. So far I have been running for about 5 hours and Explorer.exe seems to be running fine now.
I did some digging into event viewer and the crashes seemed to be tied to Reagent.dll reporting that the hash does not match.
I noticed that one of the files affected in the update was reagent.dl, so I am guessing they REALLY pay attention to the trouble reports (or one or more of their systems was doing the same as mine).
Previous to this latest update I attempted to fix my system utilizing various SFC and DISM commands which always shown that there was no problems with the image.

I am so glad this patch came out today as I was resigned to doing a clean install of my OS this weekend

This file has to do with backup and recovery.

ReAgent.dll is a DLL file which is responsible for component Microsoft Windows Recovery Agent DLL in Windows systems like Windows 7 Professional Edition 64-bit.

I am having the same issue with one of my Windows 10 systems. File Explorer keeps crashing whenever I open it. Also, whenever I open the Start Menu, it opens up the Search bar for Cortana. Unfortunately, the update didn't fix it. Anyone know of a fix?

Explorer crashes sometimes related to what is called a shell extension in context menu, when you right click something in explorer, see choices in context menu, software installed adds more in there, many other reasons this can happen. Cortana search is close to start button, sure not hitting that ?
