That is just great, another flaw in the "perfect" Windows 10.
Inability to install Windows Updates before updating to bad drivers.
I better create a shortcut to roll back a driver, this will happen often.

What do you mean a driver is blocking it? Are you saying you can't get any other updates until you install that driver? If so, that's the one thing that's going to drive me crazy about Windows 10 as there are times when an older driver works better then the latest one - GPU drivers for example.

Anyway Microsoft needs to allow us to decide on which drivers to install or not. That said, check out this how-to: How to temporarily prevent a Windows or driver update from reinstalling in Windows 10

Unfortunately so. Driver blocking works only when Windows Updates are set to notify as well, that is good, but a driver has to be downloaded prior to Windows Updates, otherwise no updates. Let it to MS to always find a way to complicate simple things.

Exactly, sygnus21 !! Even after this new update only giving you option when to restart now or at a scheduled time. Always keep a copy as you do of drivers, Tairuki . Keep them on a thumb drive.

Use this tool to hide the updates you don't want to install. Then let Windows check for updates again.

I edited my post to include a how-to. Have you seen or tried it? Thoughts?

    Thanks.
