I noticed something too and I don't think it is in my head. The IE graphics rendering seems snappier and the mouse scrolling and accuracy seem a better.
Edge went blank, on me for awhile, now it is back with News
I had issue with scrolling (had to bump up the amount of line in the setting) it is now back to normal with the update so I have to reduce the amount of line back to the previous value. seem like it's a lot's of small fix, people are reporting various improvement, I still have sound issue, one channel is lower than the other but it is better than before
So I booted up this afternoon and saw the Cumulative Update...it downloaded then installed. I got the notice to Reboot and I selected Reboot Now.
Booted back up, I got the Notification that the update was installed. I looked at my update history and saw the entry. I had to go out so I shut down.
When I came back, I looked at Windows Update and got a download of this update, again. It was quick, installation was quick, but No Reboot was required.
Now I have 2 entries in my history. I don't expect anything to be wrong but it was a weird situation.
Should I be concerned?
Dont restart! I have several people who updated and when they restarted the computers crashed and are now stuck in a continuous loops system restore don't work and unable to get to safe mode. Message reads DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OO_EQUAL (epfwwfp.sys) if anyone knows how to get the computer to boot please let me know even if it's getting us back to windows 8.1
Shutting down and restarting appear to be faster for me. Almost as fast as 8.1
